General terms and conditions Mas Lo Faix, Chambre de hôte

We would like to welcome you to our Chambre de hôte and ask you to take note of our general terms and conditions and privacy statement.

GENERAL

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to all guests of Mas Lo Faix.

1.2 By entering into a reservation request or booking, as a guest of Mas Lo Faix you agree to the General Terms and Conditions.

1.3 The minimum stay at Mas Lo Faix is three nights.

1.4 Check-in is possible from 14:00-23:30, check-out is till 12:00. Exceptions can be made by mutual agreement.

1.5 Smoking is not allowed indoors or in the rooms. Smoking is also not allowed outside due to fire hazard.

1.6 Pets are unfortunately not allowed at this time.

1.7 Guests can park their cars in the private car park. Parking is always at your own risk.

1.8 Guests must provide proof of identity on arrival.

1.9 The owners of Mas Lo Faix may, in case of violation of the general terms and conditions and/or house rules or in case of inappropriate behaviour, deny and/or refuse guests access to the accommodation with immediate effect, without further notice and without refund of accommodation expenses.

1.11 Mas Lo Faix reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions. You accept and acknowledge as binding the terms and conditions in force at the time you use the Mas Lo Faix website and facilities.

RATES

2.1 Rates shown are per room, per night and ecluding breakfast for two people.

2.2 The rates shown include the use of water, electricity, and bath & bed linen.

2.3 VAT is not payable on the rates shown.

2.4 The rates shown are subject to price changes.

RESERVATION AND CONFIRMATION

3.1 A reservation request or booking can be made verbally, by telephone, in writing, by e-mail, whats-app or via booking sites.

3.3 Upon receipt of your reservation request and the confirmation sent by Mas Lo Faix, you are bound to pay the deposit. The reservation is not final until you have received confirmation from us and the deposit has been paid.

PAYMENT

4.1 The deposit is 50% (for other booking sites as our own, other % may be applied) when the deposit is received, the reservation is final. The balance must be paid no later than 1 week before arrival.

4.2 For reservations made within one week of arrival, the total amount of the stay must be paid immediately.

4.3 The deposit and balance payment must be transferred to IBAN: FR7614445004000800356386543 BIC: CEPAFRPP444 in the name of EI VAN DER WIJST SOPHIE

stating Mas Lo Faix and your reservation number.

4.4 Other costs for possible breakfast and dinner should preferably be paid in cash or by direct bank transfer before departure. We do not accept credit cards or debit card payments.

CANCELLATION

5.1 Cancellations are only accepted in writing or by e-mail, quoting your reservation number.

5.2 We are very flexible and until the day of arrival 18:00 you can cancel free of charge. After 18:00 we charge for the first night.

5.3 In case of a no show, the full amount of the stay is due.

5.4 We recommend that you take out proper travel cancellation insurance.

FORCE MAJEURE

6.1 In case of force majeure, both permanent and temporary, Mas Lo Faix is entitled to dissolve or temporarily suspend the agreement in whole or in part without the guest being able to claim fulfilment and/or compensation. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: danger of war, war, revolt, strikes, boycotts, disturbances in the energy circuit, in traffic or transport, government measures, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters and furthermore all circumstances, extraordinary weather conditions, death of one of the owners or close relatives, etc. under which full or partial fulfilment of the contract cannot be reasonably and reasonably demanded of the accommodation. Naturally, we will make every effort to provide you with new accommodation at that time. If you do not wish to make use of this, the paid costs will be credited to you.

LIABILITY

7.1 Mas Lo Faix cannot be held liable for damages suffered by the guest or third parties as a result of the stay in the accommodation; the guest indemnifies Mas Lo Faix against claims in this respect. Mas Lo Faix is not liable for disturbances in and around the accommodation, such as power cuts and breakdowns of electricity and water supplies and technical installations, construction and/or road works in the vicinity of the accommodation which have not or have not been announced in time. Mas Lo Faix is not liable for damage, loss or theft of personal property of the guest.

7.2 Mas Lo Faix can only be held liable for damages due to the owners' gross fault or negligence.

7.3 Furthermore, the liability of the accommodation is always limited to the maximum amount that the insurer of Mas Lo Faix will pay out in the relevant case.

7.4 The use of the swimming pool is at your own risk. Mas Lo Faix cannot be held liable for any personal injury or damage to personal property resulting from its use.

DAMAGE

8.1 The guest must behave properly and use the Chambre de hôte accommodation in accordance with the reasonable instructions for use given by the accommodation or the owners.

8.2 The principal guest is legally liable for damage caused by him or his fellow guests to Mas Lo Faix or the property or persons therein.

8.3 Any damage must be reported by the guest to the owners immediately. Repair and/or replacement costs have to be paid by the guest.

8.4 If keys are lost, the guest will be charged for all resulting costs.
